Definition: Environmental impact

Waste recovery

Waste recovery – any operation mentioned in the annex. IIB of Law 426/2001 for the approval of Government Emergency Ordinance no. 78/2000 on the regime of waste.

Treatment

Treatment – all natural processes, chemical and biological characteristics that change waste to reduce the volume and nature of their dangerous, facilitating the handling or recovery

Recycling

Recycling – reprocessing operation in a production of wastes for the original purpose or for other purposes.

Reutilisation

Reuse – any operation by which the package has been conceived and designed to accomplish within its life cycle a minimum number of passes is refilled or used for the same purpose for which it was conceived;

Refus from composting

Refus from composting – waste that were not recovered in the operation of composting. Some refusals tickets can be subjected to further treatment.

Emission limit values

The emission limit values are expressed in terms of mass specific parameters, concentration and / or level of emissions, which can not be exceeded during one or more periods of time.
